– Repetition –

The Crossover Trilogy Ring forms part of the Repetition Range, designed by Ulandie Jonas of Uwe Koetter.
Trilogy rings are said to represent your past, present and future. A beautifully hued round tanzanite is flanked by a pair of round diamonds for a colourful take on the traditional trilogy setting. All held within four-prong claws upon raised mounts to lift the stones clear of the 18K white gold shimmering shank.
– What inspired the range –
The repetition range was inspired by the use of lines and the interplay of light, line and space to create the effect of another set of lines and patterns. This moiré effect is particularly apparent as the viewer changes position in relation to the object.
– Ulandie Jonas –
Ulandie’s childhood in Cape Town has had an enduring influence on her work, setting the stage for a lifelong interest in natural beauty, spirituality, and indigenous arts and crafts.
From a young age, Ulandie knew that she wanted to make jewellery. She enrolled at Cape Peninsula University of Technology where she honed her skills in design, manufacturing and CAD. After completing her degree, Ulandie started interning at Uwe Koetter where she got first hand experience working with, and designing for customers.
With several years of experience and the 2017 PlatAfrica 1st Prize win under her belt, Ulandie is one of Uwe Koetter’s best jewellery designers.
For Ulandie, jewellery is more than ornamental; each piece is a precious talisman, imbued with history and alive with meaning. The most fulfilling part of her work is knowing that her creations are both dear to those who possess them, and destined to be passed down for generations.
All of our showrooms offer a warm welcome, but if you aren’t local our cutting edge technology allows you to work with one of our designers in real time wherever you are in the world, as many of our customers have discovered.
