An exciting collaboration! We’ve teamed up with Mr South Africa as a prize partner, giving away a dazzling diamond valued at R65 000. This marks the first time Mr SA is awarding a prize of such magnitude to a voter from the public (rather than one of the contestants).
The diamond itself is truly a sight to behold – 1 carat, with a K colour, VS2 clarity and an Excellent Cut. Aptly called the Uwe Koetter Legacy Diamond, this piece honours the memory of the late Uwe Koetter, the founder of Uwe Koetter Jewellers. By naming the diamond after Mr. Koetter, we honour his legacy, dedication and commitment to the company.
This sparkling beauty is a reflection of the relationship between Uwe Koetter Jewellers and Mr. SA. We admire Mr. SA’s values and commitment to nurturing positive role models for the younger generations of South Africa and the Uwe Koetter Legacy Diamond personifies these values. Much like how a diamond forms under immense pressure before becoming the valuable stone we all admire, we are reminded that true character is formed through strength and perseverance.
We hosted a wonderful event last month to unveil the diamond to the public for the very first time. Guests and sponsors mingled and enjoyed refreshments while gazing at the beautiful stone up close. Uwe Koetter took this opportunity to congratulate the top 10 finalists on all they’ve achieved thus far.
The wonderful crowning event is taking place in November this year at Vodacom World Events – The home of Mr South Africa. During the event, our diamond will be awarded to a lucky voter for simply supporting their favourite contestant!
